Bianca is a proud, born-and-raised Las Vegas native. She is a mother of two wonderful sons, ages 16 and 2.
Bianca was blessed to become a mother early in life. Her first son awakened her nurturing spirit. In addition to caring for her boys, she is also a parental figure to her mother’s adoptive children. Bianca attends Central Christian Church and volunteers in the children’s ministry, which provides her with further opportunities to express her caring nature. Her professional focus has been dedicated to service, including over 10 years of experience at the State of Nevada.
After getting married and having her second son, she became a stay-at-home mother. Unfortunately, the marriage deteriorated due to her husband’s substance abuse, which eventually led to domestic violence. Bianca found the strength to leave with her sons. This clean break gave her the chance not only to heal but also to grow as a person. Her journey has included participating in Bible studies, women’s groups, and counseling.
Her current living situation can be described as a home full of love. Bianca lives with her mother in a household shared with nine other individuals. Although it’s a loving and supportive environment, Bianca knows her sons deserve a space and home of their own. She learned about Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas and the Homeownership program after her mother saw an ad on Facebook. Bianca knew this was the moment she had prayed for.
Bianca says that a Habitat for Humanity home offers her family the stability and security of homeownership, providing a foundation for them to flourish. It represents more than just a house; it’s an opportunity to build a brighter future where she can create lasting memories and achieve her family’s dreams in a safe, nurturing environment. A home would be a profound blessing and a source of immense gratitude for her and her family. It symbolizes not just the gift of a safe and stable place to call home, but also the chance to build a strong, supportive environment where they can thrive together. Having a home allows Bianca and her family to develop a deep sense of belonging and stability for her children. She is deeply thankful for the opportunity to be part of this incredible journey and for the support that makes it possible.
